Catt John
Lead Singer / Creative Director
Catt studied musical theater at UCLA, lived in New York and performed both off-Broadway and in the jazz and cabaret scenes, and has worked as a singer on Carnival Cruise Lines internationally. Since returning to her Bay Area home, Catt has performed with many bands and musicians in the area and continues to write and record her own music as well. She is excited to present this brand new show as a personal tribute to some of the female rock artists she has long been a huge fan of.
Karen Tesi
Vocals / Dance Captain
Karen Tesi is a very versatile musician. Her experience includes genres from Jazz to Opera, Country to Contemporary as well as Gospel and Rock. In fact, she placed in the top 10 vocalists for the national competition Best of the Blessed by United One Productions in 2010. Karen has contributed not only vocally but also as a trumpet player to recordings by several artists and churches. Currently Karen is guest vocalist for the Sunnyside Big Band, and lead singer and trumpet/ keyboard player for Diamonds After Dark band, and The Subs in Central California where they perform music from the 1940's-2000..
Kari Edwards
Vocals
Kari Edwards has had many singing and theatre experiences. She has been in numerous musicals as a singer and dancer and has had lead roles in Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof, and Superman. She sang in choirs throughout college and enjoys singing for her church. Currently Kari teaches first grade in Fresno and is very excited to have this opportunity to sing and dance along to some of her favorite woman artists growing up.
Steve Cox
Drums
Steve has been playing drums for more than 35 years. He started showing signs of musical inclination as early as 5 years old, banging on pots and pans, lids, whatever he could get his hands on. In terms of drumming influences, Steve cites Tommy Lee of Motley Crue as being the definitive influence that led him to wanting to be a drummer. Other influences to his playing include, Lars Ulrich of Metallica, Louis Bellson, Carter Beauford of Dave Mathews Band, Chad Smith, Morgan Rose, Mike Portnoy, Vinnie Paul and many others!! Steve enjoys playing just about anything. He’s played everything from latin to funk, hip-hop to country, jazz to metal. His approach has always been to try to listen to as many different styles of music as possible in order to learn new patterns to apply to the music.
Robert McCullough
Bass
Robert McCullough is a seasoned bass player with over 50 years of musical experience. Hailing from Philadelphia, his roots are embedded in the soulful sounds of artists like The Delphonics, Blue Magic and the O’Jays. The rich tapestry of his musical journey was also heavily influenced by the likes of Miles Davis, Marcus Miller and Victor Wooten and others. As a young musician Robert played the Clarinet and the saxophone in the marching band and orchestra before falling in love with the bass and the rest as they say is history. Robert moved to California in 1974, courtesy of the United States Navy (thank you for your service Robert). Since then he has played with several great bands including; New Shoes, Last Time Around, The last Tropers Of The Real Thing among others. With as legacy spanning many decades and genres Robert continues to weave musical magic.
Chris Ward
Keys
Chris comes from a musical family. His brothers and sisters all played instruments and his dad was a well known singer and bass player. Chris is self-taught on the keyboards and has played in bands across several decades and genres. He played keyboards locally in The Remnants for 20 years and has covered a variety of genres from classic rock, R&B, to country AND western!
